`The government drives national campaign for the performance of national economic development. It is said that ``if we open a nest of a squirrel, we can find there mals of chestnuts.`` This will teach us how important it is for our life to be dilligent and make savings. We have heard the story of ants in hot summer and know that of the poor winter life of grasshopper. The three major government policies - EXPORT, MORE PRODUCTION and CONSTRUCTION - are positively carried on in order to develop the national economy and raise the people`s earnings. It is an urgent request of the country that we increase national savings as the source of local fund to execute the First Five Year`s Economic Development Plan. In fact, the mind that is willing to be in thrift and save is the basis of our wellfare life. It will be the attitude we should keep that we create sufficiency by saving in a hard life rather than in a sufficient life. We shall be able to enjoy better tomorrow and more steady financial life by saving little by little in line with making our insufficient life of today planned and stable. Cicero said, ``Thrift is a great income.`` Truly, it is a way of saving to overcome today`s hardship and save for the life of tomorrow, and it is also a worthy life for a man in activity. We should make a country developing and a land rehabilitating, by endeavoring in thrift and saving. The Ministry issues the stamps for the campaign for More Savings with a wish that we may stablize the people`s life by fostering people with mind to save more money.`
